A friendship quilt made in Massachusetts, USA, in 1873 inspired this quilt. It consists of 12" blocks made from Mourning Fabrics set on point with lattices and completed with two borders.
Shadow Star uses a combination of hand and machine piecing or can be pieced entirely by hand. Finished quilt size - 87½" x 68¼".
