This quilt is a reproduction of a quilt dating back to the early 1840's, however the provenance of the original quilt is unknown. This spectacular quilt has trapunto throughout the background blocks, which together with the pieced blocks are surrounded by an appliquéd grapevine border and two pieced sawtooth borders. The North Carolina Lily blocks and sawtooth blocks can be rotary cut and machine pieced or the entire quilt can be pieced by hand. Finished size - 93¼” x 93¼"
