Traditional hand and machine piecing pattern
This quilt was inspired by a ‘Bullseye” quilt made in Indiana, USA in the 1860s. It consists of a central Mariner's Compass surrounded by alternating pieced and plain rings. It is then set into a background square to complete the quilt.
The Indiana Rising Sun can be hand or machine pieced. A separate pattern is available for foundation piecing if preferred. Finished Size - 88” x 88”
