This quilt was started in Nantes, France in April, 2014, where I was visiting to teach at Pour L'Amour du Fil where my book ‘Of Needle, Thimble & Thread' was released. On the first day of the show I purchased some Dutch fabrics which were Ideal for fussy cutting to demonstrate the use of my perspex templates for a circular Seven Sister's variation. From that, ‘Dutch Sisters in Nantes' was begun. The quilt is hand & machine pieced and hand appliquéd. Finished size - 74.75” x 74.75”.
