This quilt was inspired by a Pine Burr quilt made in USA, in the 1800's . The border fabric was the inspiration for the fabrics and colours used in the quilt. The quilt consists of a foundation pieced Pine Burr blocks, straight set, with the outer blocks finished with contrasting fabric to create a saw tooth type effect. The quilt is finished with a wide border made from a stunning feature fabric. The quilt uses a variety of fabrics to achieve controlled scrappy effect. Finished Size - 76" x 88".
